We absolutely love getting wedding photos from our brides. Monique has been a long standing friend & client of mine for many years, was such a privilege to be a part of her wedding day to her the love of her life Luke.

One of Monique's only briefs was up and away from her face and the other was no fluffies around the face. She had already decided she wanted her veil under the hair, so we just worked around what we were going to do with the hair, so it stayed in and looked amazing for her wedding day.

At your trial we normally spend about 2.5 hours working with you to find out exactly what you are after. Suggestions are made, pictures are looked at, we have an extensive portfolio spanning may years of looking after stunning brides.

Upstyle & Formal Hair Courses

Are you looking for some hairstyling tips and tricks? Look no further! Learning the basic hair styling rules from when you began your apprenticeship is the where it all starts. Learn or refresh your skills at the art of the backcomb; gain expertise in smoothing and defining; perfect hair roller placement; OR create curls using other styling tools like the GHD or the conical. We start from scratch – no more up styles falling out or curls not lasting. Whether it be a full or half day, personalised or with a group, our training can certainly help, classes tailored around the individuals needs. Are you a hairstylist and have a wedding coming up but would like a confidence boost? Please call as Di is happy to help. All class participants receive a certificate.

Whether you are refining your skills or a complete beginner with a passion to work in an ever changing exciting Industry that challenges you to create and absorb new trends and technology we will have a course to suit. Our course days are full or half days, modules and can also organise a day or two around your salons needs. Are you finding your staff are lacking the hairstyling skills for up styling? There may be only one or two staff members that “can do up styling” lets change that. We start from the basic skills up, perfecting along the way, giving them the confidence to “go for it”.

Teaching hairstyling has always been a passion of mine and so rewarding, SDS Hair Group Australia, education from the basics of up styling for beginners to the advanced techniques, of the very latest trends, catwalk and bridal long hair styling.

Our beautiful Bride Elise wanted a huge bun at the nape of her neck, was absolutely stunning! we had a couple of trials so we knew how it would last, was it comfortable to wear, and with her large blingy hair slide would it stay in. We had covered all bases so, we both knew, myself being her stylist, that we were absolutely comfortable, this was the style that would last the whole day.
